Cocreated with Sora

More than ever, in the age of endless scrolling, we need real-life moments, like music, laughter, gigs, random chats, to lift us up and remind us we belong. Too many of us feel stuck at home, tired of endless feeds or not sure where to start. Myself included! 😅

Peckham.Live is here to try to fix that, and you can be part of it. Let’s make it easier to find those moments, whether you’re a local or new to the area, shy about showing up solo, or just tired of missing out because you didn’t know what was happening right on your doorstep. ✨

Short reads, local tips, no fuss — just an excuse to step out, see what’s good, and feel at home in your own backyard. Think of it as a gentle nudge to enjoy the real world and feel part of the neighbourhood, one plan at a time.

If you think it is a good idea, tell your friends about it too!

Meow, I’m Cat! 🐈‍⬛

Maybe you’ve spotted me around, probably wearing leopard print and cat ears and hunting for great places to eat, charity shop treasures, fun things to do, or the next good pint. 💛

In 2002, the year I arrived in London from Brazil, I remember looking at Peckham from the 343 bus and thinking “this is my place!”. It was love at first sight. I was here by chance: I lived in Wembley at the time, and I was taking an unfamiliar route to visit a friend in Nunhead. Almost by chance again (or not), my dream came true in 2014, when I moved to SE15.

By the way, English is my second language, so forgive me in advance for any typos, grammar mishaps and odd turn of phrases! Luckily, I have my sidekick Hal 🤖 to help me out!

Thank you for reading this far!
